INDIVIDUAL RULES:

Period Lengths

Boys 8u, JR - 16U - 2 x 2:00 Periods with 30 second rests between periods
Boys 18U - 2 X 3:00 Periods with 30 second rests between peiods
Girls 8u - 16U - 2 x 2:00 Periods with 30 second rests between periods
Girls JR - 2 X 3:00 Periods with 30 second rests between peiods

DUALS RULES:

Wrestlers can only compete on one team
USAW rules in affect.
Periods- Freestyle: 3 - 3
Headgear optional. Mouth guard mandatory for braces
Scoring: 6PT forfeit or injury default, 6PT fall, 5PT tech-fall, 4PT major decision, 3PT decision
Athletes MUST have proof of age/grade via a school report card to show if challenged.
Challenger MUST show proof as well.
Mat side scoring with Flo Arena.

Gear Rules

Modified High School Rules with Certified Officials
Headgear is highly recommended but not mandatory. Mouthguards are mandatory with brace

Please note: There will be a security screening for all patrons (including wrestlers). Please allocate time for the security process. ALL BAGS WILL BE SEARCHED. The security team may ask that you discard food and beverage items not bought at the venue. Athletes will be permitted to bring one large sports bag (ie. duffel bag) and all other patrons will be asked to bring only one personal item per patron (ie. purse, school backpack, etc.).
