Kyle Dake Heads to Moscow for Another Battle with Kadik

Kyle Dake is heading to Moscow for the next chapter of what has become one of the more intriguing matchups of his career.

On September 5, the four-time World Champion and Olympic medalist will defend his Real American Freestyle Cruiserweight Championship against Belarusian standout Mahamedkhabib “Kadik” Kadzimahamedau at RAF Moscow.

Dake and Kadik are no strangers to each other, and their history makes this matchup especially compelling.

Kadik famously defeated Dake 11–0 at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021, handing Dake one of the most stunning losses of his international career. Dake responded later in the tournament by battling back to capture Olympic bronze, but the loss to Kadik remained a memorable moment in the 74 kg division.

Years later, the two finally met again under the RAF banner in January 2026. This time, Dake got his revenge. In a much more competitive contest, Dake defeated Kadik 10–7, evening the score and setting the stage for a rubber match.

Now they meet for a third time.

Kadik enters Moscow with momentum after a 7–0 victory over Will Lewan at RAF 12, while Dake arrives as the reigning RAF Cruiserweight Champion. With the series effectively tied 1–1, this isn’t simply another title defense—it’s a chance to settle unfinished business.

The first belonged decisively to Kadik. The second belonged to Dake.

September 5 in Moscow, we find out who takes the third.
